                             SHEA YOU ARE A GIFT

GOD made loving people to do his work on earth to give a hug or lend a helping hand. He gave them words of comfort and encouragement and cheer and tender hearts that care and understand. To show us day by day how far the wonders of his love can go and make a better world ; a little bit of heaven here below.

SHEA you're such a great example of God's Love at work in the world. It shows in the kind words you say and the thoughtful things you do for others.

Now you are a big part of a Heaven shinning down from above on all of us. When we are in trouble or feel sad I know you will be there to watch over us all

My Mom loves and misses you so much. She fell in love with you and Peter( Not so hard to do ) I love that you could have your dream wedding on the beach which I consider sacred ground which we will take walks on all the time.

It was nice that you spent so much time on the patio with her. I will Love you forever SHEA See you again.

This is Nicki once again. I am thinking of you always.

I want you to know that the men and women of the United States Air Force, salute you and that they have graceously taken up a collection in your honor.

A flag is also being flown in your honor.  This is what we believe in, this is why we do what we do. For people like you who must and will be remembered. Always.

You are so loved and you don't know it! But we do remember you.

I love you,

NickiJ (Nicole De-Luge Jones) your cousin/sister.

My sincerest sympathy to the Clarke Family. I met Cheryl a few times while hanging with Gail, my dearest friend, and this is a lady that one never forgets. To family and friends, be strong and blessed for having known her.

06-02-2009 11:00 PM -- By: Kelly Gaus,  From: Boca Raton

I met you as both of our lives were changing, yet niether of us realized it at the time. Boy did we ever need eachother though! You were always the one.. When we went out- You would draw the attention of all! You're beautiful smile, your HOT body, and your shining personality...You stunned ALL! That's why we called you CLARKE...GRISWALD! Your last name wasn't nearly as snazzy as you are. You're way more of a Foxwell then a Griswald BTW. Go figure you ended up with a name like that. You could make me laugh for hours. Sitting on the patio telling our stories, ohhhhh...and our love for football. I'll never forget the Super Bowl Party you took me too. The duplex that Don & I had in Boca was the craziest, yet fun times...I wouldn't change a thing for the world. Those were the times that brought us all together. Oh...jeeeez!!! You on the back of that scooter with you china sandals, black leggings, & your sweater tied around your neck. GOD! Haa! There's just so many memories, and stories to be told.

You & I would sit there and say that "It was 'Our Style'...a little classier & more sophisticated then the rest of the bunch." I don't really care what anyone thinks..haha CLARKE! It was true. Cause this is between me and you right now. We definatly had our share of ups, downs, stories, and secrets. You were the only one to stand by my side. I love you soooo much!!!

I sit here now after thinking for the last few days letting things sink into my scattered mind. Our deep conversations about life, the afterlife...and I know how spiritual of a person you are, and how deeply you care for your mommy, daddy, Anthony, and all of your sisters. I know there has to be somewhere better then this sucky place.. lol....cause we talked about it...Just pick me out a hot spot next to you and a good set of fake boobies....LOL... I feel a little better knowing some of you deepest toughts. I know that even after I moved home...even if I didn't talk to you for months you would still call or text me to see how I was. You never forgot or stopped thinking of me. You and your family always included me in your lives after and now I wish I was there to be more of a part of yours. I'm sorry for being a little selfish at times...but, I know you know me...your GAUS. I love you CLARKE. and I know you love me...I'll meet you in heaven, and I'll take you to Red Lobster!! HAHAHA. xoxox.

I miss you already!!!

I Love Always,Your Gaus!!

ps...This is unedited...may ramble & it will probably suck...but, it's just me & I know that's how you'd want it. xo So....THERE!

I am so thankful, to have had the opportunity, to have met you.  A part of me use to even be a little jealous, everytime I heard Troy mention your name, but the first time I met you, it was obvious why he adored you so much, because at that very moment, I adored you too!!  Your incredible smile that lit the room and that amazing sincere tight hug you gave.  It was no wonder why everyone adored you!!  God blessed us all, by bringing you into our lives.  I am certainly honored, to have had the chance, to call you a friend, and you will be missed more then words will ever express!!  You'll be treasured forever!!

I am still here, looking at your picture. I cant imagine how much you have touched the loves of others. I can't believe that you are really gone?

But as I read, I realize that my cousin, my sister was a star! An Angel that God has allowed us to know for a while. Now that you are gone, our heart aches for you to return. But God has called his Angel home and for that, we must find the strength, no matter how hard, to rejoice.

Shea, I am your cousin Nicki and I am praying for you. I am sorry that you have lost your beautiful wife. You will be in my prayers.

To my dad (Roland) my cousins, Debbie, Beverly, Gail, and significant loved ones, please know that I love you all. To all of my Second cousins, especially (Anthony). To my aunts Pat, Barbara, Hellen, and uncles Allan, Reynol, Audie, and to my own mom Veronica. My own sisters Mich, Diane and brother Gerard. To all who are now aching for Cheryl, know too that I am praying for your strength. I wish that I was there. But I am here in Iraq, missing all of you.

Hold each other dear. Hold on tight. Hold each other up. Be strong, because Jesus is near.

Holy Spirit, wash my family with the precious blood of the Lamb whom is Christ Jesus. Protect them as they travel to and from their destinations. Watch over them, guide them. Grant them peace. Hold them close to you. Keep them in your care. And bring me back safely to them.

I love you.

06-02-2009 3:55 PM -- By: Nicki De-Luge Jones,  From: Currently in Iraq

My dearest Cheryl.

I am sorry that you were taken away from us. I am sorry that you had to go away. I am lost for words. My heart is broken for you. You were always good to me and remain an inspiration to me. I remember the talks that we had when I was younger. You always had something encouraging to say and I will keep your words in my heart forever!

I am over here, fighting for what I believe in. You alway told me to believe in myself and to believe in whatever I do. I honor you today with my service.

Not surprising, is how my fellow brothers and sisters in military service to this country, has stepped up to honor you, my dear Cheryl, my cousin, my sister.

In learning of my loss, the memers of my unit the 506 ECES Kirkuk Iraq, once again sacrificed to give a donation on your behalf. They wanted my family to know that they truly mean to serve their countrymen in truth and in Love. They have given to me, so that I can give to you. You are loved and you dont even know it!

We will fly a flag in your honor!

In military honor, we salute you cousin, sister, daughter, mother, wife, aunt, friend!

I am sad that I am not there for you. I am sorry to see you go. I will love you always.

You cousin, sister,

Psalm 22:24-- "For he has not despised or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help."
Psalm 30:5-- "For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. "
Psalm 34:18-- "The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. "
Psalm 46:1-2-- "God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, ..."
The LORD is good,
a refuge in times of trouble.
He cares for those who trust in him, ..."
Matthew 11:28-29-- "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."
John 14:27-- "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
Romans 8:28-- "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
1 Corinthians 15:52-58 -- "in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory."
"Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?"The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."
2 Corinthians 1:3-7 -- "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer.  And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort."
We will keep your family in our prayers. Let us know if we can do anything at all for you all.
Read these verses to help you through these hard times.
Much Love,

She is Gone
(Read out at the British Queen Mother's Funeral)

You can shed tears that she is gone
or you can smile because she has lived.

You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back
or you can open your eyes and see all she's left.

Your heart can be empty because you can't see her
or you can be full of the love you shared.

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember her and only that she's gone
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn               &nbs p;   your back   or you can do what she'd want:             &nbs p;      smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

Cheryl, I only knew you for a short time, but it felt like we knew each other for a life time.  Im so blessed to have known you in my life.  There were so many times that you encouraged me through tough times.  Your smile and your cheer brighten up any room.  I always looked forward to doing procedures because I know it was going to be easy.  Of all the conversations we had, I remember you speaking of your husband and how proud you were to be married and find your soulmate.  Peter although we never met, I know that she loved you down to her soul.  You are very lucky to have loved someone although short some never find that kind of love in a lifetime.  Cher you also told me about your family and how close you all are.  Our life's parallel from our sons, to the passing of our mothers, to our loving fathers.  I promise you if there is anything that I can do to make the pain less for your family I will.

Promise me that you will light up heaven and enjoy.  Sister when I see you again, I will know the joy of heaven that you know now.  Say "Hi" to my family too.  They will welcome you in heaven.  You are one of God's best and the angels are rejoicing in heaven for your homecoming.

One last thought Malia said on Saturday when it was raining after I told her of your death, "Then that's why the earth must be crying"   I told her yes the earth was crying for your loss.  Out of the mouths of babes.

Cheryl until we meet again.  LOVE YA and Truly Miss Ya
