She was also my friend at one time too.  I had always loved her. Yes, true, she was such a beautiful person.  We use to have a lot of crazy fun.  Tha is what I shall always remember about her.  Our fun as two young girls.  No matter what people say, I sincerely loved her and I as well have missed her for many years before her untimely death.  I remember my friend.  Thank you.

06-06-2009 10:03 AM -- By: Marla Shaver,  From: Signet

On the day of your funeral the sadness must be swept away by rejoicing in the knowledge that you are home.  Home with your heavenly father and mother once again.  Let it be known you are no accident.

Ephesians 1:4  According as he hath chosen us in him, before the foundation of the world, theat we should be holy and with out blame before him in the world.

God has no accidents.  Cheryl  your time on earth although short was planned and perfectly executed.  You shared your smile and GOD's spirit with all that came in contact with you.  May your family heal and know that in this perfect world of God, all of us shall meet in heaven one day.

Althought there are tears and pain here on Earth, I know you are smiling down from the heavens saying "Don't cry, celebrate.  Don't be sad, Sing and rejoice"

For this is the day that God has made, rejoice and be glad in it.

I will forever have you in my memories and thank you for the time spent together on Earth.  I hope to see you in the next life.

Your friend forever,

Marla.

To Cheryl's Family , please know that she was loved and respected by all. Very rare does one come across in life, one so beautiful on the inside and outside. This graceful dove will link up with the greats like Bob Marley and Lord Kitchner and be singing... "Baby don't worry, 'bout a ting, cause every lickle ting gonna be all right". Remember "One bright morning when my work is over, I will fly away home". Cheryl's radiant smile will always be remembered. May her soul rest in peace.

I wanted to let the family know that my prayers are with you.  Cheryl was the Clinical Instructor for MedVance and while I was employed I spoke with her often concerning students.

Blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comfort!!

Shea, its funny the way god puts people in your life.. I started working in this office 2 years ago and immidiatly felt like part of a family. You made me feel welcome and gave me confidence and hope. I'll never forger our long talks when we were alone together or your warm, beautiful smile telling me that god has better plans for me. You were like a mom at work for me and many others. I miss you tremendously. Its strange how a building with over a hundred people can feel so empty and cold without you in it. I am glad that the last few years of youre life were filled with joy, happiness and most importantly  love. I know that you are in heaven with your mom, whom we all know you loved dearly.  You're family is in my prayers. I love you.... Mandy

Though we have not been in contact for years, it’s very devastating to learn about you this way.  You were part of a family that I grew up with and considered to be my own family.  People move on with their lives, but their memories are constant.  I’m delighted that I had the pleasure of knowing you as the children we were growing up in Queens Village, and then as the women we grew into taking care of our own.  It was lovely seeing photos of you after so many years…Cheryl, you are a beautiful soul and you’ve touched the lives of many, then and now.

I will continue to keep the fond memories of you in my heart along with your smile.  I can still see you walking very statuette on the floors at Cushman & Wakefield.  I know you’ll have all the angels in heaven smiling along with you.  May God give your family peace and healing during this difficult time.

With Sympathy

Ashlee (formerly Marlene)

We are to continually walk in love being guided by love and following love. When God puts love and compassion in your heart toward someone, He's offering you an opportunity to make a difference in that persons life.  You must learn to follow that love, don"t ignore, act on it, someones needs what you have!   Joel Osteen

Cheryl, we know you are out there still smiling like you always did, and that distinctive laugh we will never forget. The numerous days, nights and weekends we all hung out were some of the most fun and memorable times of our lives, how could anyone forget. The love, the graciousness, your sense of humor, the stories, your beauty, everything about you was perfect! We know you will be looking over us, listening and laughing over the stories we will reminisce. Know we love you, and always will.

My deepest sympathies go out to all the family. And the family Amber & I knew personally, we are thinking of you.

I only had the pleasure to meet Cheryl on two occasions and my first impression (other than the obvious, "Wow, this girl is a knockout!") was how warm she was. She made you feel comfortable and I could tell that she was caring and selfless. She was the cream of the crop. If her kind were added to this earth instead of subtracted, imagine how sweet life would be. I just noticed that she was a Christmas baby, how fitting.

Cheryl,

I hope that you are happy and comfortable. You are in my thoughts and prayers. We will miss you...

06-03-2009 11:09 PM -- By: Amber (Your Sunshine) and Don,  From: Signet/Florida/NC

Cheryl, where do I begin?  Let's say at the beginning.  I remember the first day I saw you walk into CMI.  White pants, polo shirt, and sweater tied around your neck.  Even though I questioned your outfit =), I had never seen anybody more stunning.  Your smile instantly brightened my day.  I never would have thought that day that you would be one of the most influential people in my life.  Everyday at CMI, you brightened my day by making me laugh.  Remember the picture I drew of the X-Ray team and how much you loved it because I portrayed how you looked to a "T"?  Well, You were my Shea and I knew you inside and out.  I remember the day I nicknamed you "Shea".  You wanted people to start calling you that from that point on LOL...I see that you got your wish.  God, I remember the day you ate the whole red velvet cake LOL in the lounge.  OMG, where did you put it?!  I remember our coffee breaks.  And you always knew in your heart that I was the "Lead darkroom tech "at night" because you knew saying it made me feel good.

Cheryl, I can't stop thinking about the good times we had.  You were my "rock" when I felt like I was going to loose it.  You had this calmness about you that I admired.  You would tell me "Just let it go baby, don't let it bother you"  I can hear your voice right now.  I remember the times we spent outside your place in Plantation, talking and drinking our wine and bitching about work, but laughing about it too and saying if we didn't have each other there, what would we do.  There's so much I want to say, but what sticks out most is the last time I saw you and brought Abigail in to see you before I moved out of state.  You picked her up and she put her head on your shoulder and I said, "She loves you, she doesnt do that to anyone."  She saw something in you and loved you instantly.  You said "your a mom now baby."  I still can hear your voice.  I hope you are in peace and I hope you will visit me from time to time and leave a sign that you are there.  You will forever be in my heart and I will forever be your sunshine.  I love you Cheryl.
